One Dead And Two Injured In Stand Off With Orlando Police Near Valencia College

A standoff between Orlando Police and armed gunman ended with one dead and two wounded. An officer was attempting to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Kirkman rd & Raleigh st in Orlando late Friday evening. The driver 21-year-old Marquis Spencer rammed into the patrol car and speed off.

Three people in the car eventually jumped. One man was shot dead and another was captured. The third ran into the nearby woods near Valencia College and was caught. Police have not released the reason why the vehicle was being pulled over.

200 Pound Black Bear Spotted Near Downtown Orlando

Orlando, Fla. -

The Orlando police are tracking a bear that weighs in at an estimated 200 pounds in the Parramore area and have been waring residents to stay inside.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation officers, FWC - state game wardens - are assisting the OPD.

Police say so far the beaar has not threatened anyone and probably is just as scared as residents, but again cautioned anyone from taking actions on their own to trap or kill the bear. FWC hope to catch the bear and transport it to a safe area for release.

Police in downtown Orlando responded to a disturbance outside of Club 23 early Thursday morning around 2:30am. Video captured at the scene shows that Pacer team member Fesenko apparently bumped into someone who then unleashed an aggressive and loud verbal assault on the 7ft 1 inch player.

Witnesses say Granger then began to charge the restrained by friends. OPD officers from the bike patrol were able to defuse the situation and every walked away.

Orlando PD and Seminole Sheriff Motorcycles Collide During Presidential Motorcade Escort of Obama in Orlando

Orlando, Fla. -

An Orlando Police Dept motorcycle and a Seminole County Sheriff motorcycle collided while they were escorting President Obama's motorcade in Orlando yesterday.

According to the FHP, both were wearing helmets and suffered only minor injuries after being thrown from their bikes.
