Dead Body Found In Landing Gear Of Plane That Landed In France

French officials are investigating how a dead body was found in the landing gear of an airplane that arrived from Douala airport in Cameroon.

The CAMAIRCO airplane landed at Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport where a man about 30 years old was discovered in what officials described as a do-or-die voyage hoping to escape poverty.

French voters have elected socialist Francios Hollande in a national run-off vote for president. Hollande won an estimated 52% of the vote said voters elected "change." Turnout was high, with an estimated 80% of voters casting their ballots in the polls.

Hollande elections will have significant effects across the Euro-zone, as he has said he would redo agreements for its member country's debts.

Admitting defeat, centre-right incumbent Nicolas Sarkozy wished "good luck" to Mr Hollande.

Air France Cancels Flights Amid Labor Strike During Busy Holiday Period

As the busy Nov. 1 national holiday period for France approaches, Air France has announced that it has had to cancel about 20% of its flights due to a labor strike by flight attendants, affecting mostly international routes, but some short regional routes as well.

The flight attendants complain that the airline is planning to reduce cabin staff to unsafe levels and increase their workloads, and the flight attendants' union has called for a five day strike ending on Wednesday.
