Augusta National Golf Club Weclomes First Female Members

The Augusta National Golf Club is welcoming its first female members in the history of the formerly exclusive all male private club. Augusta is best known for its PGA golf tournament held each year.

Augusta chairman Billy Paine said the club is welcoming Condoleezza Rice and Darla Moore.

Tiger Woods Nearly Assaulted with Hotdog Food/Weapon in Frys.com Open Golf Tournament in California

San Martin, CA. -

Just as he was focusing on a putt at the Frys.com Open Golf Tournament, Tiger Woods recalls, "I was kind of focusing on my putt when he started yelling... I turned around and the hot dog was in the air,” Woods said.

A man yet to be identified ran out onto the golf green and threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods. The bun never came close, but the wiener made it all the way onto the green.

Woods finished with his third straight 68 while playing in his first tournament in seven weeks.
