Hector 'Macho' Camacho Has Died After Life Support Removed

Three time world champion Hector 'Macho' Camacho has died after being taken off life support. Camacho has been on life support after being shot in the face outside a nightclub in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, just outside of San Juan.

The 50-yeaar-old Puerto Rican boxer fought the likes of Oscar de la Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard and Felix Trinidad over his three decades in boxing.

During the shooting, his friend Adrian Mojica Moreno was also killed in the attack. Police found cocaine on Moreno and inside the car.

Doctors Say Famed Puerto Rican Boxer Hector 'Macho' Camacho Is Now Brain Dead

Doctors in Puerto Rico now say Hector 'Macho' Camacho is now clinically brain dead saying he has only irregular and intermittent brain activity according to Dr. Ernesto Torres. Camacho was shot in the face Tuesday night while he and a friend sat in a Ford Mustang outside of a bar.

Police said they found nine small bags of cocaine on the friend and another bag in the car.

Camacho has a 79-6-3 career durning his boxing career.

Tropical Storm Maria Not Expected to Hit Florida or U.S. East Coast

Miami, Fla. -

Officials at the National Hurricane Center are predicting Tropical Storm Maria will not become a threat to the U.S. east coast according to long range tracks. THey do however warn that long range tracks are not entirely accurate, and residents should keep up to date of the storm's status.

Maria is roughly 650 miles from San Juan, Puerto Rico and most all of the Lesser Antilles, Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are now under a tropical storm watch or warning.  Maria is not expected to strengthen significantly within the next 48 hours.

Puerto Rican Senator Roberto Arango Resigns After Photos of Him Surface on Gay iPhone App

Republican Senator Roberto Arango of Puerto Rico has resigned following pictures of him relating to a gay iPhone app appeared on the internet.

Senate President Thomas Rivera Schatz received the letter of resignation and calling the incident "very lamentable." Pictures shown include someone who appears to be the Senator on his hands and knees naked, and another of his upper body, also unclothed.
