Police Searching For 2 Men In Burglary At Cranes Landing Apartments

Orange County, Fla. - BREAKING NEWS

Orange County deputies are reporting there has been a burglary at the Cranes Landing Apartments on Goldenrod Road, near University Blvd, in Winter Park.

Deputies have set up a perimeter and brought in a helicopter and K-9 units in an effort to find the two suspects.

They are described only as 2 Hispanics males, one wearing a hoodie.

Suspect In Armed Robbery, Grand Theft Auto, Caught After Car Chase on I-4 Ended With A Crash

Police in Orange County and Seminole County arrested 21-year-old Sterling Anthony after they say he robbed a man at the Lemon Tree Condominiums on Lakeway Drive at 5:47am this morning then stole his car. The incident happened just north of Park Central.

According to police, Anthony approached the victim and demanded his money and car keys and took off in the car. He was spotted on John Young Parkway and fled when police attempted to stop him.

ATM Robbery Suspect Shot Dead By Victim At Fairwinds Credit Unioin

Seminole County -

According to the Seminole County Sheriff's office, a robbery suspect was shot dead by the victim he was robbing at an ATM at the Fairwinds Credit Union on Fernwood Boulevard.

The incident happened last night at around 10:30pm when the victim was using the ATM and two men approached him from behind holding knives and tried to rob him.

At that point, according to the victim, he pulled out his gun and shot one of the men and the other one ran off. The suspect hat was shot was taken to Florida Hospital Altamonte where he was pronounced dead.

Palm Bay Convenience Store Armed Robbery Ends With Clerk Being Dragged Outside

Palm Bay, Fla. -

Police in Palm bay are looking for a suspect they say committed armed robbery at a Circle K convenience store on Emerson Drive overnight at about 1:30am.

In the surveillance video, the suspect is seen using a silver colored pistol holding it to the head of the store clerk. The clerk later tried to escape to her vehicle but the suspect stopped her and attempted to drag her behind the store before he eventually fled the scene.

Man Tries To Steal Cab Drivers Wallet And Loses His Own Wallet

Police in New Smyrna Beach have arrested Terry Smith, 42, after he hired a cab to give him a ride and then tried to steal the cab driver's wallet and phone.

After a brief struggle and the cab driver being smacked in the face, Smith fled without the cab driver's wallet and phone or his own wallet.

After the cab driver reported the incident, police discovered Smith's wallet in the cab and were able to track him down.

They spotted Smith driving in front of his house, he has a suspended license.

St Petersburg Police Shoot And Kill 7-11 Robbery Suspect

St Petersburg, Fla. -

Police in St Pete have shot and killed a robber during a 7-11 robbery t 4th Street N and 62nd Avenue N.

Undercover police had been monitoring the store due to several other recent robberies in the area when they witnessed the 7-11 being robbed at 1:30am.

Police say they moved in after two suspects exited the store and that there were two suspects, a man who ran down an alley carrying a shotgun, which police confronted and shot and a woman carrying knife that was tracked down by a police dog.

6 Arrested And Charged With Armed Robbery And Kidnapping In Kissimmee

Kissimmee, Fla. -

Six people have been arrested and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping over an incident off Old Tampa Highway.

Police arrested Rosa DeJesus, 33, Stephen Batista, 20, Frederick Rodriguez, 24, Crystal Gonzalez, 35, and Abraham Buil, 18, after they had gotten a ride by an unsuspecting victim and pulled a gun on him and forced him to drive to at least two bank ATMs and withdraw money.

DNA Links Ryan Pearl To Robbery Of 91-Year-Old Woman In Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -

Police have been able to link a home invasion and robbery of a 91-year-old woman in Fort Lauderdael to 21-year-old Ryan C. Pearl using DNA. The incident happened August 24 in the 1300 block of Southeast 14th Street.

According to the elderly woman, she woke up when Pearl entered her home and attacked her and began to kick and screan and scratch her attacker and escape out the front door.

Deland Police Looking For Man Who Shot Homeowner On East Voorhis Avenue

Deland, Fla. -

Deland police are looking for a shooter who they say shot 45-year-old Andrew Ware in his home multiple times early Thursday morning.

Police have said they have very little information and no leads as of yet but believe this was the result of a home invasion and robbery.

Ware was airlifted to Daytona Beach hospital and is now listed in stable condition.
