School Shooting In Cincinnati, Ohio Ends With One Hurt, One Arrested

Cincinnati, Ohio

Police in Cincinnati have arrested an alleged gunman after he opened fire at La Salle High School, injuring at least one.

After the arrest, Hamilton County Sheriff's spokesman Jim Knapp said the "treat is over".

Knapp refused to comment as to who the suspect is, or if he is a student at the school.

U.S. Navy Seal Snipper Killed At Gun Range

Former U.S. Navy Seal and famed author of American Sniper Chris Kyle died on Saturday at a gun range in Glen Rose Texas on Saturday. The former Seal had 160 kills on his record. Kyle served four tours in Iraq, won two silver stars and five bronze stars in his military career.

Eddie Ray Routh had been arrested in connection with Kyles death and a unnamed second person. No motive has been identified at this time.

26 Dead In School Shootig In Newtown Connecticut

Early this morning 26 people were killed following a shooting massacre in at the Sandyhook Elementary School in Newtown Conn.

According to police, Adam Lanza killed his mother, who also taught kindergarten at the school, then put on black tactical clothing and a bullet proof vest and drove to the school and killed four more adults and 20 children before taking his own life.

20 Dead Including 10 Children In Newton Connecticut Elementary School Shooting

The gunman who killed 28 people including 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton Connecticut is dead as well. The school with about 600 students with Connecticut State Police are still on the scene investigating.

The gunman has been identified as 20 year old Adam Lanza. Lanzas mother Nancy Lanza taught at the school.

At 9:35 am this morning Lanza went into the school and shot a reported 100 rounds. Officers were able to escort the remaining students safely out the campus to the safety of anxious parents.

Jared Loughner Sentenced Today For Tucson Shooting That Killed 6, Injured 13, Including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords

Jared Loughner has been sentenced to 7 life terms in prison in a Tucson federal courtroom today in Arizona for the shooting death of 6 and injuring another 12, including Congresswoman, U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Loughner pleaded guilty in the Jan 8, 2011 shooting outside of a supermarket in north Tuscon. Giffords was holding a meet-and-greet with constituents when Loughner showed up armed with 9mm Glock 19 pistol and fired indiscriminately.

Police Looking For Man Who Shot His Wife And Daughter In Tangelo Park

Orange County, Fla. -

Orange County deputies are looking for Donovan Guthrie, who say he shot his wife and stepdaughter at the family's Tangelo Park home Saturday morning.

Deputies say he was able to get away before they arrived on the scene.

The mother and daughter are expected to survive.

Tangelo Park is located just off the north end of International Drive and across from the Sonic drive-in.

Prosecutors In Colorado Shooting Motion To File 10 New Charges

Prosecutors in the Aurora Colorado movie threater shooting have filed a motion in court seeking to add 10 new charges against James Holmes, the man who have been accused of the shootings which resulted in 12 dead and dozens more injured.

If the court approves the motion, it would bring the total charges against Holmes to 152. Separate motions were also filed to amend 16 counts of attempted murdeer and the on count of "crime of violence" sentence enhancement.

A spokeperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney's office said due to the gag order she count not comment on the filings.

Suspect In Shooting At Lauderhill U-Save Store Ordered To Be Held Without Bond

Gevaenydd K. McKenzie, 40, has been ordered to be held without bond Thursday over charges of attempted murder after turning himself in to police over the July 31 shooting at the U-Save convenience store in Lauderhill.

The victim, 21-year-old store employee Ramzi Foqahaa, has been partially paralyzed from his injuries sustained in the shooting.

Colordao Shooter Charged with 24 Counts Of Murder, 116 Counts of Attempted Murder

The Aurora Colorado movie theater shooting suspect, 24-year-old James Eagan Holmes, has been charged with 24 counts of murder, 116 counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of explosives.

12 people died in the shooting that took place during the opening showing of the newest Batman movie 'Dark Knight Rises' on July 20th. Another 58 people were wounded in the incident.

Specifically, it is 12 counts of first degree murder and 12 counts of murder with extreme indifference.
