Currently, AT&T offers a tiered data plan for each line of service, for both individual lines as well as family plans. That is going away in August, as the nations second largest wireless carrier rolls out its new group data sharing plans.

AT&T Says It will Bring 5,000 Well Paid Call Center Jobs to U.S. if Merger With T-mobile is Allowed

Washington, D.C. -

AT&T has said that it will bring 5,000 well paid and highly competitive call center jobs back to the U.S. if it is allowed to continue its buyout merger with T-Mobile. It also said it would not lay off anyone from its U.S. call centers and would let natural attrition reduce the workforce due to overlapping positions within a merged company. It's hoping to entice Obama officials who are keen to add or create jobs in a very weak economic recovery, and whose administration must approve or deny the merger deal.
