Anders Behring Breivik Called "Cowardly Little Man" In Court By Surviving Teenage Victim; Massacre Killed 77

During a court hearing Wednesday in the trial of Anders Behring Breivik, who killed 77 people on July 22, 2011, one of his teenage victims, Ylva Helene Schwenke, called him a "cowardly little man" as she showed the court her scars from four bullet wounds from when Breivik shot her on the island of Utoeya.

Pakistan Sentences Doctor That Helps U.S. Kill Bin Laden To 33 Years In Prison

Pakistan has sentenced Dr. Shakil Afridi to 33 years in prison under its Frontier Crimes Regulations, FCR, for helping the United States hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden.

Afridi ran a vaccination clinic for the public and also helped to quietly collect DNA samples in Abbottabad of the population for the CIA's search for bin Laden for a decade. Human rights groups have called the FCR abuse because it is a special set of regulations that govern the restive tribal region of Pakistan where clan leaders and militants rule.

Suicide Bomber Kills 96 At Yemeni Parade Rehearsal

A suicide bomber blew himself up and killed at least 96 others during a rehearsal for an upcoming military parade Monday morning. So far no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The AP is reporting that it appeared to be an assassination attempt on Yemen's Minister of Defense, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Ahmed. Ahmed was in a heavily fortified area and was not injured.

CIA Stops Underwear Bomb Attack On US Bound Airplane

Following tips from foreign intelligence services, the CIA agent seized a bomb and thwarted an attack on a U.S. bound airplane intended to go off around the one year anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death. In what the FBI is calling "very similar" about a bomb plot using underwear like the one on board a Delta flight in December of 2009 that landed in Detroit made by the Yemen faction of Al Qaeda, this ugraded bomb also was hidden in underwear.

Video Of Kidnapped American Development Worker In Pakistan Posted By Al Qaeda

Al Qaeda has posted a video of American development worker, 70 year old Warren Weinstein, who was originally abducted from his upscale house in Pakistan in August of 2011. In the video, Weinstein said his captors will kill him if President Obama does not meet their demands. Last December Ayman Zawahiri, then the number 2 leader of Al Qaeda, appeared in a video saying they were holding Weinstein.

The Taliban have claimed responsibility for a suicide car bomb that went off in Kabul just two hours after President Obama left Kabul Afghanistan on an unannounced visit with military commanders and other American officials.

British Aid Worker' Body Found Beheaded Along Roadside In Quetta Pakistan; More US Drone Strikes

The body of Khalil Rasjed Dale was found beheaded and wrapped in a plastic sheet along a road near Baluchistan Pakistan. Dale was a ICRC and British Red Cross aid worker who ran a humanitarian aid camp.

His name had been written on the plastic with a black marker along with a note that said his ransom had not been paid. He had been originally been kidnapped in January.

According to Pakistan police reports, Dale's head was cut off by a small sharp knife that sawed through the neck.

A Wave Of Ukrainian Bombs Has Gone Off In Eastern City Of Dnepropetrovsk; Injuries Mounting

In a coordinated attack, four bombs have went off within 70 minutes of each other in the eastern city of Dnepropetrovsk in the Ukraine, inuring a lot of people. Local authorities have said it was a terrorist attack.

The first bomb went off in a trash can at a train stop, then second bomb went off near a movie theater injuring several children, and a three more were hurt in a third blast and fourth blast did not hurt anyone. So far a total of 27 have been injured, 24 of them hospitalized.

One World Trade Center's Height About To Surpass Empire State Building For Tallest In Manhattan

New York City -

One World Trade Center is about to surpass the height of the Empire State Building in Manhattan and already had over 100 floors completed as the steel structure nears its topping out according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

A standard "topping out" ceremony will be conducted on Monday when the new building is expected to exceed that of the Empire State Building. The new building will also have a 408 foot broadcast antenna sitting atop the monument building replacing the World Trade Center complex that was destroyed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Pakistan To Reopen Supply Routes To NATO

Ending a five month closure, Pakistan's parliament has voted to reopen crucial supply routes into Afghanistan to NATO forces.

Last November Pakistan closed supply routes into Afghanistan after a NATO air raid on a Pakistani Army border post ended up killed more than 20 Pakistani soldiers.

The vote was part of an overall vote on resuming NATO relations, but it also banned NATO from moving ammunition through Pakistan.
