Libya Orders Investigation into Death of Gadhafi Despite Libyans Saying They Don't Care

Tripoli, Libya -

Libyan interim Prime Minister Mustafa Abdul-Jalil has ordered an independent investigation and formed a commission to look into the circumstances and death of former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi. Several countries, including the U.S., have said only an independent and transparent investigation will give credibility to the new government of Libya.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Arrives in Libya To Offer Money and Aid

Washington, D.C. -

Secretary of State HIllary Clinton became the first cabinet level high ranking American government official to visit Libya since the rebels of the National Transition Council, NTC, overthrew former leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi during the Arab Spring uprising that also occurred in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and Syria. Protests are still underway in Yemen and Syria.

NATO confirms it is Bombing Bani Walid, a Holdout Town of Gadhafi

Tripoli, Libya - (BREAKING NEWS)

As the Libyan rebels continue their assault on the remnants of former leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi, NATO just confirmed it is bombing Bani Walid, one of the last strongholds of the former autocratic leader.

If rebels are able to take this town, it will leave only three small towns left. The rebels captured Tripoli about three weeks ago and Gadhafi fled with many of his riches.

After the Rebels took control over Gadhafi's compound in Tripoli, they raided and ransacked it. Of course, they found (and took) remnants of the former Libyan leader's lavish lifestyle, including luxurious clothing, a gold-plated rifle and a golf cart, but they also found something a little more unexpected: a photo album devoted solely to former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice.
