Ricin Laced Letter Sent To President Obama Intercepted

The FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force is investigating and testing a letter sent to President Obama suspected of containing Ricin. The letter was first identified at an off-site facility that screens mail sent to the white house.

This is the third Ricin tainted with the poison within a week. The first was sent to New York Mayer Michael Bloomberg. The next was sent to the Mayors Against Illegal Guns headquarter in Washington.

President Obama Nominates Jack Lew As next Treasury Secretary

President Obama has officially nominated his current White House Chief of Staff, Jacob Lew, as the next Treasury Secretary. Mr. Lew is the first Orthodox Jewish White House Chief of Staff and if confirmed by the Senate, will be the first Orthodox Jewish person to lead the U.S. Treasury Department.

According to most political analyst, Lew is expected to win senate confirmation, and will be replacing current Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

In remarks during the nomination, Obama said, "I know very few people with greater integrity."

President Obama Plans To Nominate U.S. Ambassador To The U.N. Susan Rice To Secretary Of State

The White House has said the President Obama wants to nominate the U.S. Ambassador to the United Stations, Susan Rice, as the next Secretary of State with Obama calling her his "quarterback at the U.N.". The U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. had previously been elevated to cabinet level.

Rice is known for being outspoken and straightforward in talks with officials at the U.N. using undiplomatic language and has won the affection of U.S. officials.

Iranian Military Jets Fire On U.S. Drone Aircraft Over Persian Gulf

The Pentagon has confirmed a report that two Iranian SU-25 military jets fired on a U.S. drone aircraft while flying over the Persian Gulf last week. The incident happened on Nov 1.

According to the Pentagon, the Iranian military jets fired continuously while the drone aircraft was 15 miles outside of Iranian airspace over the Persian Gulf.

The drone was not hit while it flew in international airspace said the pentagon. The Sukhoi Su-25 is a Russian made military fire jet, nicknamed Frogfoot, and the type Iran has are significantly older models.

Michelle Obama Coming To Orlando Tuesday; To Speak At UCF Arena

First lady Michelle Obama will visit Central Florida on Tuesday, when she will speak at the University of Central Florida's arena. She will be on-hand to thank grass root organizations supporting her husband, Barack Obama, and to volunteers.

The event is free to attend, tickets can be obtained starting Saturday at 3pm at the Obama for America Offices at 1516 E. Colonial Dr, Orlando.

House Committee Holds Attorney General Eric Holder In Contempt Of Congress

The republican controlled House Panel that has been investigating the "Fast and Furious" gun-running scheme by the ATF has put U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder in Contempt of Congress for failing to hand over documents the panel has requested after Holder asserts that the White House has exercised Executive Privileged.

The Justice Department has previously requested President Obama invoke executive privilege over the gun-smuggling operation which resulted in a U.S. Border Patrol agent being killed.

Next in line is Ginger White of Atlanta, Georgia who is now claiming she had a 13 year affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. She claims she had an affair with Cain for 13 years after meeting him in the late 1990's and he flew her around the country as he traveled and only ended the affair once he started to campaign for the White House.

Ginger White also offered up details, showing Fox News detailed phone records that show calls and text messages to and from her to a number she said belonged to Herman Cain.

White House Shooter Charged With Trying to Assasinate President Obama

Following up on the investigation of 21 year old Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, federal prosecutors have decided to charge him with attempted assassination of the president. Leading up this this, he allegedly fired his assault rifle at the White House earlier this week, with one bullet hitting the window on the third floor above the Truman balcony and the other hitting an exterior wall. President Obama was not at the White House at the time of the shooting.

Shots Fired At White House, Bullets Hit Window

According to the Secret Service, shots were fired yesterday at the White House. One shot hit a window and another bullet was found embedded into an exterior wall.

They said they are not sure if it is related to last week's shooting at the White House and are investigating. The bullet that hit the window did not make it through because windows at the White House are made of ballistics grade materials.
