Judge Orders Case Anthony's Civil Defamation Trial Postponed Until 2013

The civil defamation trial against Casey Anthony has been postponed until 2013 by Judge Lisa Munyon. Zenaida Gonzalez filed suit against Anthony during her murder trial to which she was acquitted of murder but convicted on four misdemeanor counts of lying to investigators.

Zenaida Gonzalez filed a defamation lawsuit against Casey Anthony because Anthony initially claimed a nanny with the same name had taken her daughter. Later Anthony's defense team successfully argued the possibility that Caley drowned in the family's pool and her father tried to cover it up.

Casey Anthony Does Deposition with John Morgan, Pleads the Fifth Mostly

Casey Anthony has completed her deposition via a video link from an undisclosed location with her attorney Chuck Green invoking the Fifth Amendment on all questions that were specific.

John Morgan said later that it was obvious she did not want to be there, but said Casey Anthony was "courteous" and composed" during the 45 minute long deposition.
