"Anonymous" Suspect Kevin Poe of Connecticut Arrested For Hacking Gene Simmons' Website

Suspected "Anonymous" member Kevin Poe of Manchester CT has been arrested for allegedly launching an attack on Kiss rock band member Gene Simmons' website with a denial of service attacks. He has been charged with conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer and if convicted faces a maximum of up to 15 years in prison.

MythBusters Experiment Goes Wrong, Cannonball Crashes Through Family Home, Lands In Minivan

The popular TV show on the Discovery Channel had a serious oops when an experiment they were recording went wrong, and a cannonball went crashing through a family home and landed in a minivan.

MythBusters is produced by Beyond Productions and was at the Alameda County Sheriff's Department bomb disposal range testing an experiment that involved cannonballs landing in large tanks of water.

E.U. To Investigate Apple In e-Books Market For Anti-Competitive Behavior Along with 5 Publishers

Apple, along with five publishers, are to be investigated by the E.U.'s anti-trust watchdog agency over alleged anti-competitive behavior.

The five accused publishers are Hachette Livre, Penguin, Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster and Verlagsgruppe Georg von Holzbrinck.

The agency is looking into alleged agreements between Apple and those publishers that unfairly restricted competition, set market pricing and controlled the e-books market in Europe.

Facebook Settles Privacy Lawsuit With FTC Over Violation of Privacy and Making False Claims

Facebook has settled a lawsuit brought by the Federal Trade Commission and agreed to 20 years of independent auditing.

Among the main allegations that Facebook had admitted were:

1- Facebook said it would not share personal information with advertisers when in fact it did exactly that.

2- In 2009, Facebook failed to inform users that their "friends list" which was private would be made public anyhow regardless of the setting users had selected, including keeping their friends list private.

Michael Jackson's Doctor, Conrad Murray, Sentenced To 4 years In Prison By Superior Court, Maximum Allowed Under CA Law

Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray, has been sentenced to four years in the California State Prison for his part in the death of Michael Jackson and his license to practice medicine in California will be revoked, along with any possible reciprocal privileges out of state.

Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter earlier this month after a six-week trial that presented the most detailed account yet of Jackson's final hours, and how the 58-year-old cardiologist administered the powerful anesthetic propofol to treat the superstar's chronic insomnia.

Jacksonville Jaguars Being Sold To Shahid Khan; Auto Parts Mogul from Illinois

The Jacksonville Jaguars, one of three NFL teams in Florida, is being sold to Illinois businessman Shahid Khan. The deal is contingent on the Jaguars remaining in Jacksonville which helps ease the concerns of the Jacksonville community.

Shahid Khan had his fortune in the auto parts industry. Khan previously tried to buy the St. Louis Rams but was unsuccessful.

And if all of that wasn’t enough, NFL.com’s Jason LaCanfora reported that Jacksonville has also extended the contract of current general manager Gene Smith.

Christian Bale Says No more Batman

Film actor Christian Bale has announced he will no longer be a part of the iconic figure Batman, saying he is done with "that Batman era."

"The Dark Knight Rises" will be "the end of that Batman era" -- the era belonging to him and director Christopher Nolan -- Bale said in an interview published Friday by the Philippines' largest daily newspaper.

He went on to say that production on the latest film has just wrapped up and it was time for Bruce Wayne to move on.

Playboy & Porn Industry File Lawsuit Over .XXX Domains Against ICM Registry

Playboy, along with several porn industry entities, have filed a lawsuit against ICM Registry over the .XXX domains.

The .XXX domains were created as a way for pornographic websites to have their own domain extension and was promoted as a way to help filter content from children.

However, in the lawsuit, Playboy is claiming the ICM Registry is charging up to 6 times the normal cost of a domain name to register one with the .XXX domain and has labeled it unfair trade practices.
