Justin Timberlake has announced that he will preform in Orlando, at the Amway Center, on December 19th as part of his world tour "The 20/20 Experience".

Tickets go on sale May 13th at 10:00am for his fan club members, The Tennessee Kids.

General sales will open later with prices ranging from $45 to $175.

Coast Guard Rescues 3 People And A Dog From Capsized Boat Off Key Largo

Key Largo, Fla. -

The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued three people and a dog on Sunday (today) from a capsized boated off the coast of the Florida Keys. Officials say they received a report of a distressed 21-foot boat and launched a search with boats and an airplane.

Once the Coast Guard found the boat, it was upside down with the occupants on the hull waiting to be rescued.

They were taken to Key Largo safely and the Coast Guard reports there were no injuries.

So far, no reason has been given as to how the boat might have capsized.

One Dead And Two Injured In Stand Off With Orlando Police Near Valencia College

A standoff between Orlando Police and armed gunman ended with one dead and two wounded. An officer was attempting to conduct a traffic stop at the intersection of Kirkman rd & Raleigh st in Orlando late Friday evening. The driver 21-year-old Marquis Spencer rammed into the patrol car and speed off.

Three people in the car eventually jumped. One man was shot dead and another was captured. The third ran into the nearby woods near Valencia College and was caught. Police have not released the reason why the vehicle was being pulled over.

Police Arrest Daylen Holloman Of Palm Coast After Stripping At 7-11 Claiming To Be A Monkey

Daytona Beach, Fla. -

Police in Daytona Beach have arrested 20-year-old Daylen Holloman after he allegedly stripped naked in front of customers at the 7-11 store on North Oleander Avenue and is being charged with indecent exposure.

According to police, Holloman called the police from the 7-11 but when they arrived he said he didn't know why he called saying all he knows is that he is a monkey.

After police told him he was human because he's wearing human clothes, he stripped, going against officers instructions to remain clothed.

Victims of Doral Parking Garage Collapse Reach Settlement With Ajax Building Corp

Miami, Fla. -

Family members of those killed in the Doral parking garage collapse, and injured victims, have reached a settlement with the building's main contractor, Ajax Building Corp along with other sub-contractors.

Four people were killed and five more injured when a large portion of the parking garage collapsed October 10th, 2012, it was part of Miami Dade College’s west campus.

The wrongful death settlement amount and terms were not made public.

Bill To End Permanent Alimony Blocked By Florida Gov Rick Scott

Tallahassee, Fla. -

Florida gov. Rick Scott (R), has vetoed SB 718, a bill that was aimed at ending permanent alimony and equalizing child custody between divorced parents.

Under the bill, those married for short periods would not have been entitled to alimony, and for longer marriages, it would have limited it to half the time that the couple were married.

It would have also given joint custody of children to both parents unless there are extraordinary circumstances or one of the parents were found to be unfit.

Florida Likely To Pass Texting & Driving Ban

Tallahassee, Fla. -

A new texting and driving ban is likely to get approved in Tallahassee at the end of the week, making it illegal to text and drive at the same time. Under the new law, it will be considered a secondary offense.

The new ticket for violating the law will be $30 and will not carry any points. In order to get the ticket, cops will have to first stop you for some other motor vehicle violation, and then will also have to prove you were actually texting, and not doing something else such as using your phone's GPS or map.

Opa-locka School Bus Crash Sends 12 To Hospital

Opa-locka, Fla. -

12 students were sent the to hospital after a school bus was rear-ended by a car at Northwest 37th Avenue and Langley Road, the bus driver was also injured.

The bus was en-route to Palm Springs Middle School in Hialeah when it was hit by the car.

Two more students on board were not injured and were transported to school.

None of the injuries were serious according to police.

West Palm Beach Woman Set Car On Fire At Gas Station With Dogs Inside Claiming To be God

Daytona Beach, Fla. -

Police in Daytona Beach have detained 29-year-old Alexandra Barnes, of West Palm Beach, after she set her car on fire with her dogs inside at the BP gas station at 971 West International Speedway Boulevard.

Barnes allegedly poured gasoline onto her car and set it on fire, then screamed her babies were inside. A bystander entered the car and found the dogs, which he rescued and gave back to Barnes.

Florida May Lower Auto Registration And Renewal Fees

Tallahassee, Fla. -

The senate has approved a bill that will lower auto registration fees and renewals by $12 each year, it was raised in 2009 to help make up for a funding shortfall during the "great recession".

The bill however faces an uncertain future because it must be sent to the house where it will needs to be taken up by a committee first since there is no similar legislation.
