John K. Rosenbaum Bitten by Black Mamba off I-95, Snake 1 of 10 Deadliest in World
Jacksonville, Fla. -
Wildlife authorities are investigating an incident in which John K. Rosenbaum, 22, of Jacksonville, Florida was bitten by a black mamba, considered one of the world's deadliest snakes.
Rosenbaum allegedly bought the highly venomous and aggressive snake at an exit off I-95 in south Georgia. After being bitten, he was taken to a local hospital and then transported to Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Rosenbaum has since been treated and discharged.
