63% Of Men Judge Other Men By The Smartphone They Have

According to a new study conducted by the Pew Research Center and Community Living, 63% of men judge other men's status and first impression by the smartphone they have and look to see what each other have as one of the first things they see.

Gone are the watch, car or clothes as leading indicators of the status of men as judged by other men, at least in the U.S., and other developed countries.

Apparently an iPhone or a Samsung Galaxy are the phones to have if you want to put out a good image according to the study which surveyed 12,500 adults.

Batman Fights Crime And Took A Wanted Man Into Police Custody; NO JOKE

London, U.K.

A man dressed as batman, complete with cape and mask, was recorded by surveillance cameras bringing a wanted man into a local police station in London.

The incident happened earlier today in Britain and officials say they honestly have no clue who the man dressed as batman was.

A spokesperson for the police commissioner said Batman was polite, and turned the man with a warrant over to police custody and disappeared.

Egypt Plagued By Swarm Of Locust Just Before Passover; Is Exodus Repeating Itself?

A massive swarm of locust has descended onto Egypt, hitting much of the Giza area and the fertile Nile farming areas. Is this how it happened When Moses warned the pharaoh?

According to Egyptian government figured, an estimated 30-50 million locust have invaded from the west and landed along the fertile Nile river farming areas and in the Giza plateau pyramids.

Government officials from the ministry of agriculture have told people not to attempt to rid the area of the locust by lighting car tires on fire, saying it will not work but can endanger peoples lives.

Bradenton Man Arrested For Giving People Wedgies At Movie Theater

Bradenton, Fla. -

Police have arrested 18-year-old Charles Ross on battery charges after he allegedly gave several people wedgies while apparently video recording the incident.

Several of the victims, whom Ross does not know, did not want to press charges out of embarrassment.

Ross is known for his own "Jackass" style of short films and recordings on YouTube.

Ross was released from jail on a $750 bond.

Man Practicing Dentistry In His Bathroom Has Been Arrested

Los Angeles, CA -

Police in Moorpark, Calif. have arrested 40-year-old William Escobar for doing dental work out of his bathroom in his apartment.

Investigators started their month long investigation after one of Escobar's patients complained about swollen gums, having come in for a tooth extraction.

When police arrested Escobar, they discovered surgical like medical trays, dental chair, dental tools, anesthetic drugs and false teeth.

Escobar has been charged with operating a dentistry practice without a license, furnishing of dangerous drugs and possession of needles.

UPS Caught Stealing FedEx Packages In Texas

A UPS driver has been caught stealing a FedEx package that contained an iPad mini at a home in Texas.

Al Alverson did not received a packaged that he has expected to arrive a few days ago and decided to review his security camera footage. To his surprise, he saw that a UPS driver delivered a package and steal one delivered by a FedEx driver earlier the same day.

The package was an iPad mini for his daughter for Christmas.

President Obama Will Pardon Thanksgiving Turkey With Most Facebook Votes

Petitions To Secede From U.S. Increase; Some Want Out, And Some Want In

Since the elections, there has bee a major increase in petitions by residents of various states to secede from the union, with Texas leading the way with over 100,000 signatures.

In fact, there are now petitions from residents of all 50 states, or at least petitions by someone else for another state to secede.

The whole seceding process is becoming increasingly complicated, as several states have now passed the mark President Obama said was needed to guarantee a response from him, 25,000.

Hey Germ-a-phobes, you'll want to pay attention. Here's a list of the dirtiest places on airplanes and in airports. Charles Gerba, the University of Arizona microbiology professor who is also known as "Dr. Germ" has complied the list toting his swab kits onto numerous flights across the U.S.

On an airplane, the most unhealthy place are those tray tables you use to eat off, put your laptop on and set your books on. Coming in just behind it are the handles to the lavatory and the latch to the overhead bins.

France Could Pass Nutella Tax To Reduce Obesity

Paris, France -

The French senate has passed a tax on the hugely popular Nutella spread, tripling the tax already on it.

The tax also applies to other products that also utilize palm and vegetable oil in high amounts and is an attempt to combat the increasing obesity rate.

France's lower house must not pass it before it came become law.

The measure is part of a bigger bill on financing the national health care system and aims to push manufacturers to use healthier alternatives.
