Newest Herman Cain Sex Scandal Accuser: Ginger White of Atlanta; Claims 13 Year Affair and Offers Up Details

Next in line is Ginger White of Atlanta, Georgia who is now claiming she had a 13 year affair with Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain. She claims she had an affair with Cain for 13 years after meeting him in the late 1990's and he flew her around the country as he traveled and only ended the affair once he started to campaign for the White House.

Ginger White also offered up details, showing Fox News detailed phone records that show calls and text messages to and from her to a number she said belonged to Herman Cain.

U.S. Rep. Connie Mack Announced Bid To Run for U.S. Senate

U.S. Rep. Connie Mack has announced his bid to run for the U.S. Senate and hopes to win back the seat his father, U.S. Sen. Connie Mack, once held.

"Frankly, I think the people of Florida have had enough," Mack told the show's host, Sean Hannity. "They've had enough of ever time they turn around, Sen. Bill Nelson is helping Barack Obama, right by Obama's side."

This announcement puts to rest long standing speculation that he would run and according to a recent poll by Fox, he is a clear front runner over current incumbent Sen Bill Nelson.

U.S. House of Representatives Reject Constitutional Balanced Budget Amendment

The House of Representatives did not pass a proposed constitutional amendment requiring the federal government to have a balanced budget.

The measure was put forward and supported strongly by GOP Republicans and Tea Party members saying the measure was needed in order to get the federal deficit under control. The House is Republican-controlled but fell 29 votes shy of the two thirds needed to pass it. In all, 261 voted for it and 165 voted against it.

U.S. Supreme Court To Decide Healthcare Law Signed by Obama

The U.S. Supreme Court has decided to take the new health care law that President Obama touted as the solution, after several federal appeals courts have ruled for and against the law and various provisions within it.

The court said it would hear the case in March and a final decision could come as early as June, before the 2012 general election.

Republicans have called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act unconstitutional since before Obama signed it into law in March 2010.

U.S. Energy Dept: Shale Oil Drillers Need To Step Up Safety or Risk Stifled Development

The U.S. Department of Energy subcommittee has sent a blunt message to shale oil drillers today, step up safety or risk public backlash that will stifle further oil field developments. In referring to past notable safety blunders that resulted in large amounts of oil being released into the Gulf of Mexico by BP, it noted the deep economic impact and regulatory pause that occurred immediately after the incident.

U.S. Senate Votes to Keep Internet Neutrality Following FCC's Net Neutrality Rule

The Senate has voted to keep in place the so-called Net Neutrality rules created by the FCC and enacted last year.

Republicans have pushed hard to overturn the Net Neutrality rules, but a resolution to do so failed 52 to 46 on a party-line vote Thursday in the Democrat-controlled Senate. The White House this week had threatened to veto the bill if the Senate approved it.

An FCC spokesman called Thursday's vote "a win for consumers and businesses."

Congressional SuperCommittee Fails to Agree on Budget Talks

In a mini-version of the recent congressional showdown over budget talks, the "SuperCommittee" formed to find a workable budget has announced that they have thus far failed to come to any agreement.

The newest proposal, a Republican action to raise taxes by $300 billion, was rejected by Democrats. Both moves seemed to be a first, and Republicans said they came off their long held refusal on new taxes but said Democrats refused their gesture.

Iran Close To Having Nuclear Weapons Says IAEA; Aided by N Korea and Pakistani Scientists

In an unusually harsh report from the IAEA, it said Iran is close to having a nuclear weapon and received help from scientists from North Korea and Pakistan. It also showed how Iran had successfully kept the weaponization parts of their nuclear program a secret.

Iran appeared to be indifferent to the report saying only that the IAEA has been influenced by western countries.

The report is expected to give the United States, Israel and other allies more strength to call for harsher sanctions and possibly some type of intervention.
