Deland, Fla. -
Stetson University has returned to football by fielding its first team in 56 years. More than 100 players, mostly freshmen, have been recruited and joined the newly formed team that is ran by head coach Roger Hughes, who previously coached at Princeton.
The Stetson Hatters will be competing in the Pioneer Football League, a Division I Football Championship Subdivision conference.
Training camp has already began, but the school's first game won't be until next year.
